Puunjalostajakillan Kotimaan Pitkällä excursio (eli KP) on viiden päivän excursiokiertue Suomen metsäteollisuudessa maanataista 6. marraskuuta perjantaihin 10. marraskuuta. Viikon aikana vieraillaan erilaisilla metsäteollisuuden tuotantolaitoksilla ja tutustutaan viiteen eri alan yritykseen. Kohteet julkistetaan perinteiseen tapaan vasta bussin lähdettyä 6. marraskuuta. Kannattaa siis olla silloin bussissa!
Excursiopäivät koostuvat aamun bussimatkasta, yritysvierailusta päivällä ja illanvietosta illalla. Tehtailla on nollatoleranssi päihteiden suhteen. Yritysivierailulle saavuttaessa on lounas, jonka jälkeen on yritys- ja laitosesittelyt sekä tehdaskierros. Yritysvierailun jälkeen siirrytään lopuksi rennompaan illanviettoon illalliselle yritysedustajien kanssa. Osassa illanvietoista on saunomismahdollisuus.
Mukaan mahtuu 24 nopeinta puunjalostajaa. Lähtö on varhain aamulla maanantaina 6.11 Puu1 laitoksen edestä osoitteesta Vuorimiehentie 1. Palaamme samaan osoitteeseen 10.11 perjantai-iltana. Tämän viiden päivän pituisen Kotimaan Pitkän lopullinen osallistumismaksun suuruus tarkentuu vasta lähempänä excursiota, mutta hinta on enintään 90€ per puunjalostaja.
Mukaan tarvitsette uteliasta ja reipasta mieltä, business casual excursiovaatteet, teekkarilakin, jos omistat, Halko-laulukirjan, saunomisvarusteet eli pyyhkeen ja uima-asun, släbärit, vaihtovaatteita ja hygieniatarpeet.

Now is the time to reserve space in your calendar, because the highlight of this year’s excursions is approaching. Welcome to the Forest Product Guild’s (PJK) Homeland Long Excursion!
The Homeland Long Excursion (or KP) is a five-day excursion tour in the Finnish forest industry from Monday, November 6 to Friday, November 10. During the week, we will visit various forest industry production facilities and get to know five different companies in the field. As usual, the destinations will only be announced after the bus leaves on November 6. So, you should be on the bus then!
Excursion days consist of a bus trip in the morning, a company visit during the day and an evening event in the evening. Millsites have zero tolerance for intoxicants. Upon arrival for the company visit, there is lunch, followed by company and facility presentations and a mill tour. After the company visit, we will move on to a more relaxed evening event for dinner with company representatives. Some of the evening events have the possibility of taking a sauna.
The excursion can accomondate the fastest 24 PJK members. The departure is early in the morning on Monday 6th of November in front of the Puu1 facility at Vuorimiehentie 1. We will return to the same address on Friday evening, 10th of November. The final amount of the participation fee for this five-day Homeland Long will be specified closer to the excursion, but the price is a maximum of €90 per PJK member.
For the excursion you need a curious and lively mind, business casual excursion clothes, a teekkari cap, if you own one, Halko songbook, sauna equipment i.e. towel and swimsuit, flipflops, spare clothing and your personal hygiene needs.
